Little Legions

A pixel-art army-building auto-battler where formations share traits with the units they touch and every round pits you against a real player's saved army.

Description

Short (263 characters)

Draft a pocket-sized army, then solve it like a puzzle. Formations share traits with the units they touch, items radiate auras across the board, and every round you face the saved army of a real player. Place, rotate, combine, then watch hundreds of tiny soldiers clash.

Long

Little Legions is a pixel-art auto-battler where where you put a unit matters as much as which unit you buy. Every card is a formation: a block of soldiers with a shape. The red cells around that shape share its signature trait with whoever stands in them. Slide a goblin horde into a Fire Elemental's red cells and every goblin sets its target ablaze; let a Warg cover your wolves and they heal from every bite. One tile can decide a battle before it starts.

Choose The Beastmaster or The Necromancer, buy from a changing shop, expand your board and rotate formations until the traits line up. Items sit on the board too: drop a War Drum or a Tower Shield where its aura covers the right units, and combine two items into a permanent upgrade. Units that survive battles become veterans.

Each round you face a "ghost": the exact board another player fielded at that round, matched to your rating. Battles play out in real time, with knockback, poison clouds, raised skeletons and chain lightning, and a battle report afterwards shows which formation actually won the fight.

Three lives, ten wins. Finish a run to settle your rating, climb the ladder's tiers and see how often your own saved armies defend against other players. Practice runs use the same matchmaking without touching your rating.

Features

  • Placement is the puzzle: traits spread between formations through placement alone, and board items radiate auras over the units around them.
  • Real players' armies: asynchronous PvP against saved boards from the same round, with a ranked ladder, placement runs and a practice mode that never touches your rating.
  • 50+ units across beasts, undead, goblins, dwarves, elementals and more, with 70+ traits and 40+ board items.
  • Two commanders, The Beastmaster and The Necromancer, each with their own unit pool, a passive and doctrine relics that reshape the run at round five.
  • Hundreds of units on screen in real-time pixel-art battles; over 1,300 in the largest fights.
  • Battle reports that break down damage dealt, damage taken and healing per formation.
  • Three lives, ten wins: short runs built for "one more try".
